A very suspenseful and illuminating vignette a street fight...albeit 2 cats and 2 crows.
A great storyline here for sure. Just watch and you'll become even more aware of just how important a musical score is when it is given just the right amount of narrative.
This could very easily be a scene out of "West Side Story" or "The Sopranos."
The crows deserve the Oscar for Best Supporting Goons to the black cat.
Just thinking ahead to Film and TV Design for the Spring.

The Final Week

Hope each of you are having a great holiday week!
Just wanted to catch you up on what is due the final week in Advanced Typography.
Our Final Critique is Thursday December 2nd at 11am. Do not arrive late.
Please have your 13-Month Calendar ready for review. You should also have a written creative brief along with your printed calendar.
*I will also need a CD/DVD with all the work you've completed for Advanced Typography this semester on Thursday December 2nd.
This hi-res pdf CD/DVD should include work for your self portrait and time line, Illustrative Alphabet and Advertisement, Wine/Olive Oil and packaging,
Final Calendar with individual calendar page layouts (including front and back.) Your blog assignments should be completed by Monday December 6th.
**Please include any revisions for any of the projects listed above on your CD/DVD. Make sure you put the original version and then your reworked versions.
You can include anything you feel is relative to your final grade on this CD/DVD as well. Comps, sketches, etc.
LOOKING AHEAD TO SPRING 2011:
You still have a few weeks of the Lynda.com AfterEffects Tutorials that you should take time to review before Spring Semester when we jump
right into the Kinetic Typography Project. Please try to learn/play with some version of AfterEffects prior to January. This will help you immensely.

Bindery Depot
If you are looking to have anything bound with WIRO (not that cheap plastic curly stuff) then head off to The Bindery Dept in Norcross. They have provided for our students in the past and while you wait usually. You have to be specific with them what you want. Also what color WIRO you want. WIRO is the metal wiring that binds any document or materials together for easy turning.
Make sure that you ALLOW for the WIRO when you are designing your Calendar. Usually 1/4 will do on your document, but make sure. This place is cheap and professional and really helpful.
