Welcome New Design Majors: The Class of 2012

Congratulations on your success into getting into the GSU Graphic Design Department.
Now the work begins. The work you begin this semester will be the work that gets you that incredible internship in the Spring and Summer 2011 and will eventually be some of the work you graduate with in 2012 and get that fantastic job in the industry.

You are working towards your future and it's all for you.I am very proud of all the dedication, creativity and passion each of you have already exhibited.
You must have a personal investment in yourself and your work from here on out.

All projects in this class is assist you in having some of the most competitive work around so your clients and your future employers will take note. Your concepts and production assets must also be smart, clever and well executed. You are competing with not only designers in your class (a health competition) but you are also joining forces with all the others who have graduated before you. You must bring your "A" game as nothing less will do. Don't settle for mediocrity.

"Good is the greatest enemy of Great." Remember that "Good enough" is your arch enemy.
